“Students should acquire legal knowledge. Legal knowledge makes them aware of the society today and equips them to become responsible citizens of tomorrow,” said Additional Civil Judge Muhammad Mujeerulla advising the students in Bhadravathi on June 11.
Mr. Muhammad was addressing a programme held at Government Girls PU College in Bhadravathi. The programme was organized in connection with the entry of legal literacy chariot in the city.
He said, “You should Endeavour to acquire legal knowledge regularly, and such awareness programmes should also be held regularly.
This is needed to inculcate the right attitude amongst the youths in the interest of a peaceful and harmonious social order”
Others present included: Civil Judge K. Girish Bhat, Principal Chandrappa, President of Taluk Bar Association A.B. Nanjappa, Secretary H.L. Vishwanath and Assistant Public Prosecutor H.D. Ananda Kumar.
