State Advisory Committee members elected

Bangalore. March 27, 2012. The Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH), Karnataka launched its Youth Wing in a meeting held here in its state head quarters Shanti Sadan today which was attended by more than 50 Youth Wing local coordinators from all over the state. Moulana Hafiz Zubair Ahmed Umri opened the programme with his Dars-e-Qur’an. Dr. Belgami Muhammad Sa’d, secretary JIH Karnataka briefed the highlights of the meeting in his inaugural words. Janab S. Ameenul Hasan, member, central advisory council, JIH addressed the youths on their role in the society. Janab Mulla Liyaqath Ahmed presented an outline of the plan of action for the Youth Wing. Moulana Azharullah Khan Qasmi presented a tazkeer in the afternoon session which was followed by the election process for the State Advisory Committee. Janab Tahir Husain has been nominated the state coordinator for Youth Wing-Karnataka, whereas Moulana Azharullah Khan Qasmi, Hassan, Br. Ateequr Rahman, Bangalore and Br. Khalid Parwaz, Bhalki, Bidar were the three appointed members from JIH Karnataka. Besides them, following members were elected for the Advisory Committee in the meeting: Br. Syed Mumtaz Mansoori, Bangalore, Br. Shabbeer Ahmed, Mangalore, Br. Laeequllah Khan Mansoori, Bangalore, Br. Naveed Imran Maniyar, Bangalore, Br. Husain, Kodibengere, Udupi, Br. Qamaruddeen Mashaiq, Bhatkal, Br. Muhammad Mujtaba Khan, Bidar and Br. Mustafa Baig, Shimoga. Janab Muhammad Abdullah Javed, President, JIH Karnataka inspired the coordinators with his concluding speech. Janab Tahir Husain, state coordinator, Youth Wing, JIH Karnataka convened the meeting.
