Last year my parents applied for Hajj from Gulbarga District but thier application was rejected, when they insisted to go by any means, then people from hajj Committe Gulbarga demanded IRS 7000/- per person to make the rejected application as accepted; My Mother was shocked and she refused to go and she told atleast allow Muslims to perform Hajj without corruption; Government should take some steps to remove such malpractices in Most Sacred pilgrimage of the World.

  17. Any news about latest amendments ., as Central guv is planning to cutoff subsidy..

  18. Assalaamu alikum wa rahmatullaah
Although this announcement is very old, ( hajj 2011), I would like to add a few words to brother Aman’s observation and query.
First of all Hajj is obligatory on only that MUSLIM who is in simple sense, financially well off.
If that is so, why the heck should a muslim who wants to perform hajj beg for subsidy from the govt ( or any other body ).
If he/she is asking for subsidy that means to say that he/she is not capable of incurring the travel expenses. Which attribute to the fact that he/she is not eligible to perfrom hajj. ( no need to ask any fatwa from any one for this. Its as simple as this )
While the reality is there is nothing such as “Subsidy” . All this is a blatant lie from the govt and they use this to spread false propaganda amongst the non muslims that – hajj is a burden on the govt.
Wake up oh Ummah, wakeup plz.
